According to Vin Diesel’s facebook blog, location scouting is underway for the next Riddick flick down in New Zealand. Now if only they can scout out someone who might actually want to watch the thing.
If you’re not familiar with the franchise, Vin Diesel’s character Riddick (AKA Space Vin Diesel in goggles) first appeared in decent thriller Pitch Black, only to reappear in The Chronicles Of Riddick, where he turned out to be the last of the ill-defined Furyan race, destined to defeat the Necromongers (an even-more confusing space death cult) and gifted with the ability to mumble through an indecipherable plot.
Hopefully the next one will be able to answer the series’ biggest question: how they keep finding investors?

I’ve got the perfect location. Any sewage treatment plant.
Hate on Riddick all you want. Shaking your tiny fists is fun to watch.
I actually liked Chronicles…course I actually liked the long ass Dune movie too, that bombed during its time.
Isn’t that guy from the Pacifier?
The goggles do nothing.
I have a Chronicle too. It’s called the Chronicles of a Guy With a Tiny Penis. You guys would buy a ticket to that, right?
Now if only Uwe Boll will direct it.
I liked Chronicles a lot, especially once I say the Director’s cut – a lot got lost in the theatrical release. Still not as good as Ptich Black, but really really good anyhow. Thandie Newton in skin-tight snakeskin = win regardless of what Vin Diesel does.
I love a good space opera.
Chronicles was a lot of fun and Deisel hints the best is yet to come.
Big cheesy space operas rule. I’ve watched Riddick more times than I care to admit.
A fan of Riddick here too…

Good movie, too bad it confused your pretty little head so terribly. Maybe you should go back to watching High School Muscial with your little girl-pals, where everything’s on a level you can directly relate to.
