Twitchfilm has three new clips from Black Lightning (Chyornaya Molniya), the Russian superhero film about a student who finds a flying Volga then decides to use it to fight crime after his father is attacked.  So it’s kinda like Spider-Man, but with flying cars and a budget of only $8 million.  It’s produced by Timur ”fat Kevin Spacey” Bekmambetov (Wanted, Night Watch, and *sigh* my dreams). There’s a clip and a subtitled trailer below.  The clip would have been much better if they’d left out the old ”the engine won’t turn over at a pivotal moment” cliche.  Really?  The car was capable of flight ten seconds ago, and now it won’t start?  And you’re just going to fly off in this janky car without a parachute anyway?  That said, I’m still watching this.  Flying cars, man.
