GRANNY’S GOT A GUN

“Blind Spot” (AKA La Bourse Lagardere) is a short film with cute animation belying its dark as hell plot.  If the style looks familiar, it may be because two of the co-directors, Cecile Dubois-Herry and Jardel Yvon, also worked on Tale of Despereaux.

In other words, I saw the cute, Ratatouille-ish animation and expected something sentimental and adorable.  Instead I saw bloody mayhem and false accusations.  So it’s just like a kid’s birthday party with my relatives.
