Neil GaimanIf you were at all worried that people wouldn’t be watching the new and heavily chinned Matt Smith Doctor Who, Neil Gaiman has revealed to SFX magazine that he’s going to be writing an episode which had the working title of “The House of Nowhere.” Did they think that “The BBC grabs a ton of new viewers for its already mind-bogglingly popular 47-year-old TV series” was way too long?

It’s also going to be for the season after this one, so it looks like the show probably won’t be cancelled this year. But then, if they were willing to do a half-season to accommodate David Tennant’s Shakespeare tendencies, they’re probably in this for the long haul.

Also, it’s so hard to walk away from a nearly 50-year old cash cow…but they’ve done it before.
