Being paraplegic just got 69% cooler. ARGO Medical Technologies has made the ReWalk robotic exoskeleton, allowing paraplegics to stand up, sit down, walk slowly, and climb stairs. It also allows non-paraplegics to stomp around making choosh choosh whirr sounds. The website doesn’t say anything about being able to descent stairs, however, so now you know how to defeat these when they become sentient.
The suit is controlled via upper-body movements using the crutches and also responds to small changes in center of gravity. The ReWalk is still awaiting FDA approval (expected later this year). The video below shows people using the exoskeleton. Now we just need Hugh Jackman to train them to box.

When I thought that said “AGRO”, I thought for sure all the MOBS on Firefoot were doomed because Burglars were getting lightsabers and jetpacks.

OOOO! Something shiny! BRB!
So is my “Lord of the Rings Online” insider talk too obscure (or too lame) for this venue?
This is almost as awesome as Nina Sharp’s robot hand. I want that.
Have we learned nothing from Rickety Cricket? All you have to do is challenge someone in this rig to a dance competition, and they’ll immediately break all their leg bones.
Not too obscure or lame. Carry on, Fek.
I’ve learned everything from Rickety Cricket.
