Dogoo Girl Fires the High Beams
05.13.10
A few months ago we posted the trailer for “The Ancient Dogoo Girl”, a Japanese TV show (soon to be a movie as well) about a yōkai-hunting warrior from the Jomon era who is resurrected by a bumbling archaeologist.
Oh, yeah, and her primary weapon appears to be shooting magic beams from her chest. I’ve heard this show replaced Ultraman’s primetime slot last October. Well, that’s just great. Japan gets model Erika Yazawa in a metal bikini shooting boob lasers in their primetime programming, and we have to try to find something interesting in a sea of singing and dancing competitions and shows about people who have too many kids.
Anyway, here’s a new clip from the show, with captioning, although I can barely tell what’s happening even with the English subtitles. But I understood enough. Breast lasers are a universal language.

I may not be able to shoot magic beams from my chest, but I make things happen when I turn on my chest’s high beams.
Thanks for letting me off with just a warning, officer!
Well, she’s a better actress than Megan Fox.
