Sir Ian McKellen, rocking a truly epic homeless beard, has recently admitted morons mistaking him for Dumbledore instead of calling him Gandalf really annoys him. And apparently he can be kind of a d-bag about it.
According to the man himself, McKellen gets mistaken for Michael Gambon, who plays Dumbledore, quite a bit, and as a true “Lord of the Rings” fan who has a tattoo in Elvish on his shoulder, he tells them he’s the one true wizard, Gandalf the Grey, not J.K. Rowling’s knockoff. Which, having read both series and written a heavily researched fanfic, we think is a little unfair, but, hey, no point arguing with an obsessed fan.
Which to us raises the important question: who’d win in a fight? Our money’s on Gandalf.

gandalf > dumbledore
Well, Dumbledore would like to stick his wand up Gandalf’s ass.
The guy playing Gandalf would like that very much.
The bottom line is you’d have two old dudes going to town on each other, therefore nobody wins.
Magneto would kick both their asses.
