An ebayer is selling a 1:1 working replica of the Batpod from The Dark Knight.  The frame and tubing are welded from hardened steel, and as for the rest of it:

Oh, where’s your sense of adventure?  The best reason to have a Batpod is to shoot grenades at something and then ramp off its fiery, burnt-out husk.

They’re requiring a $5,000 nonrefundable deposit by bank wire transfers only to look at the bike in person and the seller has a feedback of 1.  So, yeah.  Caveat emptor.  They also say this isn’t street legal. Well, of course it’s not street legal.  He’s the goddamn Batman.
